Qualcomm, the corporate behind the favored Snapdragon smartphone chips featured in lots of Android telephones, has introduced its long-awaited new chip platform for PCs will arrive underneath the ‘Snapdragon X’ moniker.

For context, Nuvia was based by a bunch of ex-Apple engineers who helped develop the ARM-based ‘A’ sequence chips discovered within the iPhone. These similar chips later grew to become the muse of the ‘M’ sequence of Apple Silicon chips.
Qualcomm’s buy of Nuvia naturally proved contentious, exacerbating ongoing tensions between it and Apple.
Whereas Qualcomm and Apple have since come to terms, the corporate behind the ARM structure is presently embroiled in a lawsuit with the maker of Snapdragon.
